But that's not what most people saw after visiting the Mega Millions website, which was shuttered by an overload of traffic soon after the drawing.

Due to unprecedented traffic, our regular web site has been temporarily minimized to provide access to the greatest number of players possible. Winning numbers will be posted shortly after the drawing.
The $355 million jackpot prompted long lines at many lottery vendors, as the previous drawing at $290 million produced no winner. Two winning tickets exist, though the winners' names are yet to have been release.
