Parents can get information from a “Montgomery College”recruteur admissions on how to help their children prepare for college, how to pay for higher education and how to support students in their quest for a degree. A workshop focusing on education: Parents as Advocates and family-school partnership will be held from
6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Francis Scott Key Middle School, 910 Promenade Schindler, Silver Spring. Experts will discuss the special education process and share tips on how to effectively advocate for your child. This is the first in a series of four workshops conducted by the Montgomery County Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health.
