Natalie Portman, Benjamin Millepied: It’s A Boy!

Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman and her French fiance Benjamin Millepied have welcomed a newborn son, their first child.

The specific details are still sketchy, but the ‘It’s a Boy!’ banner, shown above, under the caption ‘Natalie is a Mom!’, appeared suddenly and is prominently displayed on her website, natalieportman.com.

The Black Swan Best Actress winner, 30, paid tribute to her partner during her acceptance speech on February 27, 2011: “My beautiful love, Benjamin, who has now given me my most important role of my life.”

Portman met Millepied, 34, on the set of Black Swan, where he worked with her to perfect her portrayal of a ballerina and also served as her co-star. He is a principal dancer at the New York City Ballet, and a ballet choreographer of international reputation.
